Denny Hitchcock
Executive Producer / President

Denny moved to the Quad Cities in 1969 and opened Circa ‘21 Dinner Playhouse after a lengthy renovation in 1977. Denny is a former theatre professor at Augustana College, director and actor. In what little spare time he has,Denny is an avid dog sled racer, outdoorsman, lover of the arts, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Brett Hitchcock
Executive Vice President

Brett has been with Circa ’21 for nearly 30 years doing a wide range of jobs but, in reality, has been around since day 1.  “I remember coming to the theater with my father before he opened the business in June of 1977.  What I enjoy the most about working here is seeing and hearing how much our guests are enjoying their experience at the theater.  That’s a great feeling!” 

In his spare time, he enjoys being a taxi service for his incredibly active 8-year-old son Alex, racing his team of sled dogs, and spending time with his girlfriend, Christina. 

Theresa DeVine
Business Manager

Theresa has been with Circa ‘21 since December 2022. Although new to theatre, she has 20+ years working in accounting and HR fields.

“I love being in this old building. It’s such a unique experience to work here!”

 

Kimberly Calhoun
Graphic and Marketing Designer

Kimberly has worked in marketing & design for Circa ’21 since 2017, when she decided to start her “second career” after 22 years working as a newspaper editor and designer. A graduate of Augustana College, Kimberly is thrilled to combine her skill set with her love of theater.

Her work includes shooting show photos, designing marketing materials (postcards, ads, brochures, etc.), and designing everything you see around the theater (lobby boards, selfie stations, banners, programs, etc). Her favorite selfie stations were the 6-ft square newspaper front page from Newsies, the gorgeous Broadway boots from Kinky Boots, and the fun hairstyle props from Beehive!

Lisa Rohm
Children’s Groups & Workshop Coordinator

Years ago, Lisa did artistic painting for Circa ‘21 and is very glad to be back with old friends here in the theatre!

She started in February of 2022 and feels so lucky to get to work with the most amazing area teachers and students. She loves to work with schools for their field trips and outings in order to show them what theatre has to offer!

Sara Kutzli
Box Office Manager

Sara has worked in the Ticket Office at Circa ’21 since 2021. She has worked and volunteered both on and off stage at numerous theatres and arts organizations in the region. Sara is a graduate of Coe College and lives in De Witt, Iowa.

Hollie Myers
Group Sales Director

Hollie has been with Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse for 15 months. Although new to theatre, she has 25 years of experience in group sales.

She started with Jumer’s Casino Rock Island in 1998 greeting motor coaches, moving with the company, Jumer’s Casino & Hotel, in 2008 selling/promoting motor coach group sales and group travel to the Quad Cities.
